N is for New

Doh! I got behind again! My N is for New! We've gone on a bit of a home shopping spree.

My new Bakers Rack (will be painted black and have glass added. . . but I got 20% off since the glass top was missing!).

My new office rug (got 25% off this - good weekend for negotiating!).

Jake's new (well, used off Craig's List but new to him!) MIG welder (not to be confused with the TIG welder he got as an engagement present!)

New growth

I planted Basil and Cilantro from seeds in Miracle Grow (or as Jake calls it, plant crack). These were planted barely a week ago and Basil is making a strong showing. Cilantro - not a peep yet!

New Yarn


What's in the pile? The sock kit I won on Jess' blog (Regia Cotton & Cotton Color), the Elann order with yarn to start Goddess, 3 skeins of Malabrigo lace (2 blue for me, 1 green for a surprise) and 2 skeins of Silky Malabrigo, to have enough yardage for a wedding wrap!

In my last post, I mentioned a celebratory contest, but I haven't come up with a good one yet, so maybe later this week :)
