Some Thursday Temptation

So I ran across this blog contest promoting a new natural dyed yarn line. I clicked through to check it out for my #1 criteria in trying new yarns. . . YARDAGE! I've gotten to the point that I simply refuse to pay $25 for yarn that will barely make anklets with skimpy 320-350yards when there are so many dyers who give you ample yardage for the same price. Anyhow, Yarn Sprout passes with the base sock yarn having 430+ yards and not the premium attached for the Natural Dye Processing you might Expect. I particularly liked the Good Girl color (though I am steadfastly NOT BUYING YARN right now. . . I have another yarn club shipment en route!)

So check it out, and you can pop over to the owners blog if you want to post about it and be entered to win a skein to try :)

Good luck to you! Yardage is important and it's a savvy buyer that understands how to shop for yarn.
