No, not to me :) To Carrie! Go say hello and enter her contest for Socks that Rock yarn. I myself happened to win one skein yesterday :)
Not much knitting this weekend, as I spent most of my time working at WS. I'm buying my new pots this week . . . . soooooo excited!!!! I also got into an almost argument with a woman there today who refused to buy a meat thermometer because she was looking for a meat TEMPERATURE. Honest to goodness. . . she insisted there was a temperature, that was NOT a thermometer. I tried to explain to her that you TAKE the temperature with a THERMOMETER, but she was not having any of it. So then I told her we only had thermometers and to try another kitchen store! Seriously, any of you who work full time in retail. . . . I don't know how you do it. Damn my 'bubbly personality'. Even though I was hired for gift wrap, sitting in the back not talking to customers, they decided I'm better on the floor :(
And a reminder. . . don't forget to tell me about your favorite blog and pattern to enter my 100th post contest here! Folks are submitting some great ones, I'll compile a list when the contest ends!

Well, of course you can buy a temperature... it's a noun isn't it? LOL. Oh dear. Sounds like you're having a fun time with that!
Thanks for the congrats!! You know sending more people my way for the contest actually decreases your chance of winning more yarn right (just teasing!!).
I was in Williams-Sonoma Friday and thought of you! They even had a hiring sign and contemplated for a second (as I always do) and then realized I'm not even around the next few weekends before Christmas...oh well...so then I went and paid full price for all the Christmas presents I needed to buy there! Enjoy those pots baby!!!
I can't understand anyone working full time in retail. They must have some method of coping with well.. not-so-clever customers! I didn't, I only managed 3 months at Michaels and decided I'd quit rather than go see a therapist ;D
You have all my sympathy, I know how horrible retail can be. But at least you'll get the nice pots! :))
thank you for the comment on my blog -- as you didn't leave an email address I am answering this way. The zip is machine sewn into the lining, the lining is handstitched into the bag.
Well, Carrie - I'm only telling other since I've already won. Otherwise, I'd keep it a secret :)
It will make me sad come January when I have to go back to paying full price at W-S. . . I'm desparately trying to compile a list of everything I've thought about buying to get it all now!
