OK, So I saw a FABULOUS scarf here and here. . .. I HAD to have it. Problem. . . the pattern is here in San Francisco. . . I am not. Well, a few emails with the lovely owner Allison and a phone call later and I have purchased one skein of Malabrigo in Paris Night and one in Cypress. I can't decide which I like better. Luckily, my SP spoilee likes the same colors as me, so one skein will get shipped to her, along with the awesome pattern.
I got a delivery today. . . not as exciting as yarn, but it was a replacement suitcase for the one Continental melted a few weeks ago. Just in time to go back to Michigan, too!

Ooooooh! Cool scarf and scrumptious yarn. I was JUST looking at Malabrigo online today, considering it for my next Clapotis. It's so amazing looking. I can't wait to see it knitted up for your scarf! You've got a lucky secret pal.
