Crisis of Conscience

OK, so I left out one thing from my previous Nashville recap. I learned something at the SWE conference that has me torn. Kitchen Aid, one of my absolute favorites, is owned by Whirlpool. You will recall my rant on Whirlpool following the washing machine incident and my vow that I will never patronize one of their brands again, which is why I bought an LG machine, since Whirlpool makes Maytag and Kenmore, too. Now, must I boycott Kitchen Aid, too?!?! I just don't know if I can do that. I mean, I already have the mixer, but I still want some attachments, and I like some of their other appliances. I spoke to the Whirlpool folks, and they admitted that their Whirlpool customer service side is a problem. Ironically, their Kitchen Aid customer service, which sits in cubicles NEXT TO the Whirlpool service staff, wins accolades ever year. They share training, so apparently Kitchen Aid staff, being a 'premium' brand, actually take customer service seriously.

So, while I contemplate this conundrum, I will share this with you. . . 20% off any KitchenAid purchase before November 30. Use event code EVENT20 from this website.
